Web Synergies (S) Pte
Ltd is pleased to announce that it is now a partner of HP
iLIUP.
The Infocomm Development
Authority (IDA) of Singapore has planned the Infocomm
Local Industry Upgrading Programme (iLIUP) to promote
beneficial partnerships between Singapore enterprises
and multinational corporations.
As part of the collaboration,
both Web Synergies and HP will be able to obtain products,
services and solutions developmental assistance from each
other.
The three strategies of iLIUP are divided into technology
transfer and manpower development, working together in
product development, and finally exporting technologies
to global markets, allowing both companies to develop
leading edge software products and services.
With
these strategies in mind, innovative product developments
will be at the fingertips of both companies. Through this
cooperation, the companies can reduce their set-up costs
and gain instant credibility through co-marketing.
Both partners will be able to match local enterprises
with vendors, consultants, system integrators, solution
providers, dealers and end-users via its global network.
All these will in turn help create market awareness for
HP and Web Synergies, expanding their business scope and
enhancing collaboration with other organisations.
"We consider this a privilege.
At the same time, it is an affirmation of our company
having arrived at a level of proficiency. Web Synergies
is a company that provides quality and enterprise programming
services and we hope to ride on HP to look for mutual
business synergies." Explains Mr Gideon Lee, Managing
Director of Web Synergies.
The close partnership will enable the tapping on MNCs'
marketing channels to develop product branding, promoting
corporate image and identity, and raising market visibility.
Furthermore, iLIUP helps local enterprises to develop
industrial capability in terms of manpower and product
development, as well as harnessing leading-edge technologies
and methodologies.
Since
the programme works on a two-way win-win system, the companies
will try their best to provide help for each other. HP
will provide press releases, advertising, as well as joint
publication of success stories between HP and Web Synergies.
"One key area of HP's inventive capabilities is the enabling
of a new generation of applications delivered as web services.
Together with IDA, we want to contribute to the nurturing
of Singapore enterprises to fulfil Singapore's vision
of being a premier Infocomm hub," said Chia Wee Boon,
Managing Director, HP South East Asia and Singapore
In
return, Web Synergies will provide a free advertising
space for HP, relatively lowered pricing for advertising
as well as have closer connections in terms of marketing
with HP.
"We have our own niche markets and this partnership with
HP allows us to leverage on their technologies to service
our existing clientele. At the same time, HP, being a
global IT leader, is able to bring us to places where
we would otherwise not have opportunities to go to." claimed
Mr Lee.
From this, both the companies will be able to build a
fruitful and meaningful work and partner relationship.
