The British Council Singapore has awarded Web Synergies the East Asia Web Project to build web based applications to cater for the new functional requirement. In Stage 1, as proof of concept, development and implementation will be done for Singapore and Malaysian office. In Stage 2, Web application implementation will be extended to other countries of East Asia region and Websyn will be invited to propose the solution with necessary functional enhancement.
This project will consist of three major modules.
Tight timeline of the project includes the approval of high-fidelity prototype by late November 2006. A fully functional project shall be delivered by end of Jan 2007.
Web Synergies has been awarded a major web project by British Council in Singapore. This project, which is to develop 3 interactive web applications, plays a significant part in the much larger British Council East Asia Regional web project.
Web Synergies has been awarded Stage 1 of this major project, which is to develop the e-applications to proof of concept stage. The products will then be tested and evaluated by British Council Singapore and Malaysia.
On approval of Stage 1 the project could be extended to a maximum of 12 British Council offices in the East Asia region. If successful, Web Synergies will be invited to submit a proposal for the implementation of Stage 2.
Stage 1 project will consist of 3 e-applications
- A web-based email broadcasting system capable of authoring rich content newsletters, mailing list management and administration with usage reporting.
- A web-based event management system capable of authoring and displaying time-based information.
- A web- based product management system capable of authoring and displaying dynamic information about British Council's product and services.
